San Diego Swim Club will run its operations out of two locations, both of which will offer 50-meter pool options, each of which will feature various training groups for a multitude of skill levels.
One location will be the La Jolla – Canyonview Aquatic Center at UC San Diego, where the Senior Group will practice six day of the week, as well as the Age Group swimmers five days a week, and the Age Group Development four days a week.
The other training site will be at the Coronado Community Center Pool, which will primarily be used by Age Groups 1, 2, and 3.
David Marsh described the new change on Instagram as a “major part of what the team is all about, which is growing swimming in Southern California.” He added that the new name will tie back to the club’s heritage.
Marsh also mentioned that many coaches on staff at UC San Diego will also work with swimmers with the San Diego Swim Club.
