Vadra Hartman Dodd age 58, formerly of Watertown, died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026 at Quality Care Health Center in Lebanon. Born Jan. 15, 1968, Vadra was the daughter of the late Ernest Robert Hartman and Shirley Ann Robinson. She was preceded in death by by her brother, Greg Hartman and sister-in-law, Linda Hartman and a nephew, Jake Harris.
She attended Watertown High School and was a customer service representative in the food industry.
Vadra loved her family, her love was pure and it was unconditional. Her love for the color purple, displayed her depth and kindness toward others. Her favorite flowers were roses and the smell of roses, which reminds us, to stop and breathe the sweetness that surrounds us. Vadra had a true love for butterflies, which symbolizes grace and transition, a gentle spirit that brings joy when it lands. She is loved and will be missed every day by all.
Vadra is survived by her children, Nicole Anderson (P.J.) of Lebanon, Seth Brown of Nashville and Crue Julien (Jessica) of Carthage; her sister, Kim Clark (Steve) of Watertown. She is also survived by grandchildren, Pierce Anderson, Harrison Julien, Aiva Brown, Ariana Brown; nephew, Matt Harris (Ashley); nieces, Madisson Springer (Wyatt), Gretchen (Tyler) Jenkins and many great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will beheld at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026 at Hunter Funeral Home with Carl Russell officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 4 p.m. till service time on Thursday.
