Portillo’s launched a new milkshake and cake shake menu items on Tuesday as a part of a new collaboration with popular pop brand Dr Pepper.
The limited-time Dr Pepper Shake is made by blending together Portillos’ vanilla ice cream with all 23 Dr Pepper flavors, make it a cake shake and a slice of their famous chocolate cake is added to the mix too.
“If you’ve ever wished you could drink your Dr Pepper and eat your Portillo’s Shake at the same time, we have some good news,” the Portillo’s website says. “We’ve teamed up with Dr Pepper to bring you the Dr Pepper Shake, a thick, creamy shake blended with real Dr Pepper flavor in every sip for a one-of-a-kind flavor!”
The new menu items are available at all Portillo’s locations except the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport through September, while supplies last, the restaurant said.
