July 29 – August 2, 2026 Sacramento, California North Natomas Aquatic Center LCM (50 meters) Meet Central Psych Sheet Results on Meet Mobile: “2026 Futures Championships – Sacramento”Lauren Lonsdale capped off the 2026 Futures Championships in Sacramento with a trio of standout swims over the final two days of the competition, setting a new National Age Group Record and another big best time along the way.
The 14-year-old put up a time of 2:12.26 en route to winning the women’s 200 IM on Sunday, breaking Teagan O’Dell‘s 13-14 NAG record of 2:12.53 set in 2021. Lonsdale’s previous best stood at 2:14.27, set in May.
Read more on her NAG record swim here.Placing 2nd in the 200 IM was another 14-year-old, Sarasota Sharks’ Natalia Lesniewska, who clocked 2:17.55 to set a new best time and move into 44th all-time in the girls’ 13-14 age group.
Later that session, Lonsdale, who represents DART Swimming, won the 200 back in a time of 2:13.63, just over a second shy of her 2:12.59 best time that ranks 20th all-time among 13-14 girls.
The day prior, Lonsdale won the women’s 400 free in 4:12.70, lowering her previous best of 4:15.61, set at this meet last year, to rank 14th all-time in the 13-14 age group.
The runner-up in the women’s 400 free was Sandpipers of Nevada’s Rebecca Diaconescu, who put up a time of 4:17.15, just shy of her 4:16.73 season-best from May.
On Sunday, Diaconescu won the 1500 free in 16:43.09, improving on her season-best of 16:43.45.
OTHER DAY 3 & 4 WINNERS
UC Davis Aquatics’ Summer Thresher won the women’s 50 back on Day 3 in a time of 28.84, marking a new season-best. The BYU commit set lifetime bests in the 100 back (1:02.23) and 200 back (2:16.62) at the meet, placing 2nd to Lonsdale in both. Iolani Swim Club’s Sage Miller topped the women’s 100 fly on Day 3 in 1:00.74 over Manta Ray Aquatics’ Ella Morgan (1:00.81) as both swimmers set new best times. For Morgan, 16, the swim ranks her 14th this season in the girls’ 15-16 age group. Tri-City Channel Cats’ Sofia Nielson, 16, won the women’s 200 breast in a lifetime best of 2:35.37, edging out Katie Below (2:35.41) and Zoe Gruber (2:35.91). The swim ranks Nielson, who broke 2:40 for the first time in the prelims, 20th in the girls’ 15-16 age group this season. Nielson was also the runner-up in the 50 breast the following day in a PB of 32.67, with Walnut Creek’s Tayla Campanile setting back-to-back best times in the prelims (32.60) and final (32.44) en route to the win. On the men’s side, Arthur Balva picked up two wins over the final two days of the meet, topping the field in the men’s 400 free (3:52.61) and 200 IM (2:02.99) with a pair of lifetime bests. The 21-year-old also won the 200 fly earlier in the meet and set best times in the 100 free (50.02) and 200 free (1:48.87) on relay lead-offs. DART Swimming’s Tommy Jiang took 2nd to Balva in the 200 IM, setting a best time of 2:04.82 to rank 2nd this season among 15-year-old boys. 2026 NCAA finalist Nick Simons, who previously swam at Tennessee but will spend the 2026-27 campaign at Arizona State, won the men’s 50 back (25.57) in a new PB on Day 3 and then followed up with a runner-up finish and season-best time in the 200 back (2:03.14) on Day 4. Claiming the 200 back title was Palo Alto Stanford’s Gabe Anagnoson, who set a personal best of 2:02.54. DART Swimming’s Aidan Collins won the men’s 100 fly (54.09) after hitting a PB of 53.78 in the prelims, which ranks him 6th this season among 17-year-old boys. The ASU commit entered the meet with a best time of 55.03. Rose Bowl Aquatics’ Lex Ng won an incredible race in the men’s 200 breast, touching in 2:18.20 to lead a field that saw the top six finishers separated by just 62 one-hundredths. In 5th, Lucas Young‘s PB of 2:18.56 ranks him 13th this season in the boys’ 15-16 age group. Aces Swim Club’s Jenna Fernstrom won the women’s 50 free in a lifetime best of 25.94, shattering the PB mark of 26.42 she set in the prelims. The 17-year-old OSU commit came into the meet with a best time of 26.43, set back in August 2024. Bend Swim Club’s Landon Egeland won the men’s 800 free in a personal best time of 8:12.33, knocking nine seconds off his month-old best time. Sarasota’s Lupo Sgroi placed 2nd in a lifetime best of 8:16.04. The Quicksilver boys went 1-2 in the 50 free, with Tyler Porter (22.58) earning the victory and Nathan Foucu (22.73) placing 2nd. Porter’s swim marked a new best time.
