ROCHESTER, N.Y. — On Saturday afternoon, the Rochester Police Department responded to a reported shooting that involved a mailman.
Police responded to a post office at 216 Cumberland Ave. Officers found a 58-year-old man with an injury to the upper body, and RPD says he was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the shooting originally happened near Canal and West Main streets while the victim was in his postal car. No suspects are in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
