Drop 2 for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics has started, with the Visa presale. Swimming tickets are available in drop 2’s presale, starting at $1,116.27.
Tickets first went on sale to Los Angeles and Oklahoma City locals at the start of April. When tickets first dropped, prices for a finals session ranged from $104.19 to $1,860.45 per session. Prelims tickets range from $49.61 to $1,116.27 per session.
Swimming quickly sold out as all finals session tickets were sold out before the non-local drop 1 even began. The only prelims tickets that remained for the general public in drop 1 were the “A” tiered tickets for $1,116.27 per session. Swimming tickets completely sold out during drop 1 on April 13th.
After tickets sold out for some sports during drop 1, LA28 announced on social media, “Drop 2 will take place in August with refreshed inventory across all Olympic sports at a range of price points. Registration for the LA28 Olympic Ticket Draw* to get randomly selected for a spot in Drop 2 is open through July 22, 2026.”
Drop 2’s Visa presale has already begun and only had swimming “A” tier tickets available for prelims, starting at the same $1,167.27.
