VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – Marc Blumberg, 64, of Simi Valley was arrested for lewd acts on a child under the age of 14 and investigators believed additional survivors may still come forward.
In April 2025, the Thousand Oaks Police Department received a report of a sexual assault in October 2024, at MT Performance Horses & Cattle Company in Moorpark stated a press release from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office.
According to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, the girl shared that 64-year-old Marc Blumberg has sexually battered her while she was at the Moorpark ranch for equestrian training.
Detectives conducted an extensive investigation into the allegations and multiple witnesses cam forward reporting similar interactions with Blumberg at MT Performance Horses & Cattle Company noted the local sheriff's office.
On July 23, detectives arrested Blumberg and a residential search warrant conducted at his Simi Valley home resulted in the discovery of evidence that he had illegally transferred a firearm shared the Ventura County Sheriff's Office.
