Singer-songwriter Michelle Branch signed a record deal with BMG, which will release her new EP of re-recorded songs, Everywhere and Back Again, on Nov. 6. The first release from the EP is a reimagined version of “The Game of Love,” a collaboration between Branch and New Radicals, whose vocalist, Gregg Alexander, co-wrote the song. Originally included on Santana’s 2002 album Shaman, “The Game of Love” served as that album’s lead single and eventually peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. Branch and Santana also won a Grammy for best pop collaboration with vocals for the track.
Everywhere and Back Again will feature re-recorded versions of select songs from Branch’s career, including several from her major label debut, The Spirit Room. The EP will feature guest collaborations with several artists yet to be announced.
