CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — A traffic alert is in effect starting Monday for drivers on Routes 5 and 20 in Ontario County for pavement projects.
The roadway will be reduced to one lane from Canandaigua to Hopewell, Seneca and Geneva. The lane restriction will be in place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
The road will fully reopen on Aug. 7. Speeding tickets are doubled in work zones.
