Chicago police are investigating a mass shooting that left six people injured, two critically, during a gathering Sunday morning.

According to authorities, a group of individuals were standing outside in the 900 block of North Central Park Avenue just after 2 a.m. when an unknown individual opened fire, striking at least six individuals.

One of the victims, a 35-year-old man, was shot multiple times, and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.

Another man, a 36-year-old, was also shot multiple times and was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Four other victims were also hit by gunfire, and all were taken to hospitals in good condition, according to police.

There are no suspects in custody in the shooting, and an investigation remains underway Sunday.
