Obviously, Simpson is the favorite to win this job and is set to lead the Rams offense when Stafford (38) retires.
Simpson led Alabama to a 11-4 record, falling to Florida State early but finishing the season strong enough to crack the College Football Playoff. Across his first year as a starter, Simpson threw 305 completions for 3,567 passing yards and 28 touchdowns to just 5 interceptions.
