PERRY, N.Y. — On Friday, just before 5 p.m., the Perry Police Department responded to State Route 20A, near Coe Road, for a two-car head-on crash. Two of the three victims were taken by Mercy Flight to a hospital, police reported.
One man and one woman were flown to Strong Memorial Hospital, and the third victim was taken by ambulance to the Erie County Medical Center, police added.
State Route 20A was closed during the investigation and cleanup, but has since reopened.
Perry police was also joined by the New York State Police Crash Management Team, Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office, Perry Center Fire, Perry fire and ambulance, Town of Warsaw Ambulance, and the Wyoming County Medics.
