ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Clear skies and light winds overnight allowed even more heat to escape the surface than expected… Morning temperatures are as low as 49 degrees as of 5:30am. The Rochester record low for today is 48. Technically, there was a wind chill of 46! Happy July 23rd!
All jokes aside, we’ll warm up nicely today as high pressure dominates. Our high temperature will be in the upper 70s, below normal but still very nice. Winds will be light, and humidity will be quite low for this time of year, which will make it a VERY comfortable day overall. Tonight skies stay clear with temperatures reaching the mid 50s inland to low 60s along the lakeshore.
Tomorrow nice weather continues with sunshine continuing and temperatures reaching around 80 degrees. The weekend starts off well with sunny skies once more and highs in the mid 80s, then clouds and humidity will build overnight. Sunday we will see the return of showers in the afternoon, with showers and thunder expected for Monday. Tuesday will be the wettest day out of the three. Stay tuned for updates!
