An unranked prospect on recruiting sites, St. Louis played high school basketball at Fort Erie International Academy in Fort Erie, Ontario. He possesses a 9-foot-5-inch standing reach and profiles as a rim protector and dunk threat.
Alabama struggled against opponents with dominant big men in 2025-26, including Florida, which it has not beaten since 2024. Head coach Nate Oats admitted his squad needed to beef up after a 90-77 loss in the Sweet 16 to top-seeded Michigan.
