SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Otto the Orange is a finalist for best college mascot in the USA Today Sports Readers’ Choice Awards.
The Syracuse University mascot is one of 20 finalists from colleges across the country, including four from the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Otto was inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame in 2023, and appears at hundreds of events each year.
Fans can vote to help decide the winner. Voting is open through Monday, Aug. 17 at noon, with fans able to cast one vote per day until the polls close.
