In an Instagram post on Wednesday (July 22), the same day she turned 34 years old, the Rare Beauty founder shared photos of herself blowing out a birthday candle and wrote a message of gratitude in the caption. “First, I have to thank you each of you immensely for your support, kindness and all the bday wishes,” she began. “Every single day I get to create because of all of you. Thank you for always making me the happiest girlie in the world.”
“Little me would never believe I’d get to celebrate my birthday alongside 6 years of the Rare Impact Fund,” Gomez continued. “My heart is so full today. Watching this community come together to support youth mental health has been the greatest gift, so thank YOU. Gomez started her charity in 2020 with a vision of providing funding for youth mental health programs. The fund’s ongoing mission has been to mobilize $100 million in contributions to its cause.
