Ryan Fox birdied the final hole on Sunday to win the 154th Open Championship. It was the first major of his career, and Fox shot -10 over the course of the tournament at Royal Birkdale. Fox drained a birdie putt to win the Claret Jug and finish one stroke ahead of Cameron Young, who shot -9. Ryan Fox became the third New Zealander to win a golf major. Fox shot a 62 in the third round to shoot up the leaderboard to second place and get him within two strokes of Sam Burns heading into the final round.
