ATTICA, N.Y. — An inmate is dead and another is hurt after an attack at Attica Correctional Facility.
It happened Friday evening at the prison in Wyoming County. State investigators say the fight was between two groups of inmates.
Seven total inmates were involved in the attack. It has not been released how the inmate was killed or what new charges the other inmates face.
