The closing ceremony will set the tone for a historic FIFA World Cup final, uniting the passion of 48 teams, 16 host cities and millions of fans on one unforgettable stage.”
The announcement of the 18-time Grammy nominee’s high-profile gig on the pitch comes a day after FIFA revealed that Jennifer Hudson would deliver the national anthem on the final game day, with the closing ceremony also set to feature performances from global music stars Nicole Scherzinger, Laura Pausini and Robbie Williams. Superstar Tom Cruise, as well as streamer IShowSpeed, will also be participating. The closing ceremony is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. ET, which is 90 minutes before the match begins.
And as previously announced, the World Cup Final Halftime Show will feature some of the biggest stars in music. The 11-minute performance will be co-headlined by BTS, Justin Bieber, Madonna and Shakira, with the halftime set curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin.
