SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KEYT) – Santa Barbara Police arrested a 48-year-old woman after she threatened a family member with a knife around 3:00 p.m. Tuesday.
SBPD officers received word the woman used the knife to threaten a family member at the 700 block of California Street.
SBPD officers established a safety perimeter and used its Crisis Negotiation Team to safely resolve the issue.
SBPD officers later arrested the woman on several felony offenses after two and a half hours.
