ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Today will be more comfortable than yesterday with temperatures about ten degrees cooler. Still a little muggy but not too bad. Skies start out cloudy, but will clear this afternoon leading to beautiful conditions. However, we are tracking another pop-up scattered storm chance by the middle of this afternoon for the Finger Lakes and Southern Tier. Chances for strong to severe storms are near zero, so we stay Green on the Threat Tracker.
This weekend will be absolutely fantastic. Cooler, drier air fills in with clear skies. Highs will be in the upper 70s/low 80s, and dew points will be in the upper 50s/low 60s. No chance of rain, and winds will be light as well. Definitely making up for last weekend… All outdoor plans and events are good to go. Make sure to get out and enjoy it.
Monday and Tuesday heat up and turn more humid… Then second half of next workweek will likely feature more unsettled weather.
