The Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy kept the prices for most residential consumption tiers unchanged, introducing a 16 percent increase only to the seventh tier.

First Tier (One to 50 kWh): 68 Piasters Second Tier (51 to 100 kWh): 78 Piasters Third Tier (101 to 200 kWh): 95 Piasters Fourth Tier (201 to 350 kWh): LE 1.55 Fifth Tier (351 to 650 kWh): LE 1.95 Sixth Tier (651 to 1000 kWh): LE 2.10 Seventh Tier (More than 1000 kWh): Increased from LE 2.23 to LE 2.58 per kWh.
