UPDATE (July 8): The Primetime Emmy nominees in two closely-watched categories – outstanding variety series and outstanding reality competition program – were announced on NBC’s TODAY show on Wednesday (July 8).
The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, last year’s winner for outstanding variety series, was nominated again this year for its final season, along with Last Week Tonight With John Oliver and Saturday Night Live (which have each won eight top program Emmys), The Daily Show (which won in 2024) and Jimmy Kimmel Live! Nominations in key categories will be announced on a livestream at 11:30 a.m. ET. You can watch the livestream on the Television Academy website; on YouTube; or on social media: Facebook, TikTok or Instagram.
