ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Wegmans says customers helped raise nearly $770,000 during its annual “Fill the Bus” and “Fill the Backpack” campaigns.

The grocery store says that’s $43,000 more than last year. The campaign ran from June 3 through June 17 and will go to food banks across several states.
In the Rochester region, that includes more than $160,000 for Foodlink. The funds help with summer feeding programs, school pantries, and weekend meal support.
