ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A few lingering clouds and a couple showers Tuesday morning mainly south of Rochester. Skies clear for some nice weather in the afternoon. Fair skies into Wednesday with some sunshine and slightly warmer, more humid conditions. Looking ahead to Thursday, summer heat and humidity return to the region. High temps near 90 with some afternoon showers and thunderstorms possible. Threat Tracker is green as it will not be as hot as last week and storms do not appear to be severe or long lasting.
A cold front moves through the region on Friday with showers and a few thunderstorms. This will bring in cooler weather to end the week. The front should clear into Friday evening setting the stage for a pleasant weekend. Temps will be a little below normal with mainly dry and sunny skies Saturday and Sunday.
