Red Wings announce Walk of Fame Class of 2026 ...Middle East

The Rochester Red Wings have announced their 2026 Walk of Fame class that honors four coaches, eight athletes, two contributors, and two teams.

The induction will be held on Sunday, August 2nd, before the Red Wings’ 1:05 pm start against the Syracuse Mets.

Cindy D’Errico – Byron-Bergen girls volleyball – Three-straight NYSPHSAA championships from 2004-2006

Jamie Schneider – Spencerport girls soccer – Three NYSPHSAA championships (2016, 2017, 2023) and 11-straight Section V Championships since 2016

Denny Miles – Wellsville boys basketball, soccer, baseball – All-time winningest baseball coach in NYS history

Joe Thyroff – Sutherland boys and girls tennis

Contributors

Pete Guelli – Bills and Sabres Chief Operating Officer – Aquinas graduate

Katy Nesbitt – FIFA referee – Bishop Kearney and St. John Fisher graduate

Bobby Dierna III – SUNY Cortland wrestling – Two-time NCAA, DIII champion

Keith Downing – Fairport and Syracuse football – 1992 NYS Champion

Chayse Ierlan – Victor and Cornell lacrosse – 2023 DI All-American, drafted to Premier Lacrosse League

TD Ierlan – Victor, UAlbany, Yale, University of Denver lacrosse – First-Team All-American, three-time NCAA Faceoff Specialist of the Year now playing for California Redwoods of the Premier Lacrosse League

Chris Lillis – Pittsford native, two-time Olympic gold medalist

Ernie Clement – Brighton native now playing for Toronto Blue Jays. Named a 2026 American League all-star starter

Isaiah Stewart – Rochester native just traded from the Detroit Pistons to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Dan Panaggio – Rochester native and SUNY Brockport alumnus who won two NBA Championships with the Los Angeles Lakers.

2006 Roc Bowling All-Stars – Set a national record with a 3,160 team series.

Hobart Hockey 2023-2025 – Won three-consecutive NCAA, DIII titles, compiling 86 wins in 91 games.
