SENECA FALLS, N.Y. — A shed caught fire over the weekend after Seneca Falls Police say a firework landed near it.
Police say fire crews responded to a home on Green Street in the Town of Seneca Falls at around 10:11 p.m. Saturday.
Firefighters got there quickly and were able to put out the fire before it spread to nearby houses or property.
Investigators say the cause of the fire was determined to be a firework the homeowners were using that landed near the shed. The firework ignited combustible materials and caused the shed to catch fire.
Nobody was hurt.
