’90s Rock Band Planning Tour 35 Years After Forming ...Saudi Arabia

News by : (Parade) -

Oasis are planning a 12-night residency at Etihad Stadium, the home of Manchester City, during the summer of 2027. The Manchester Evening News (MEN) reported that the concerts are expected to be part of a larger tour that could be officially announced within weeks.

The report comes exactly one year after Oasis launched their highly anticipated Live '25 reunion tour, which opened with a celebrated performance in Cardiff on July 4, 2025. That tour marked Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher's first performances together since the band split in 2009.

Although Oasis have not officially confirmed the reported concerts, the news arrives as excitement around the group's reunion continues to build following the release of the first trailer for their upcoming documentary, Don't Look Back in Anger.

The teaser revisits the doubts surrounding the band's reunion announcement before showing scenes from rehearsals and performances in packed stadiums around the world.

Liam Gallagher reflects on the band's breakup by saying, "The way it finished… unacceptable."

The documentary is scheduled to premiere in theaters and select IMAX cinemas in September before becoming available later this year on Disney+ and Hulu in the United States. Produced by Disney+, Magna Studios and Sony Music Vision, the project was created by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace.

The band's first two albums, Definitely Maybe (1994) and (What's the Story) Morning Glory? (1995), turned Oasis into international stars. Their success continued with Be Here Now in 1997, while their concerts became some of the most talked-about live events of the decade.

After years of public disagreements between the Gallagher brothers, Oasis came to an abrupt end in August 2009. Noel Gallagher announced his departure following an incident before the band's scheduled appearance at France's Rock en Seine festival.

That changed in August 2024, when Oasis officially announced they would reunite after nearly 15 years apart.

The current lineup includes Liam Gallagher, Noel Gallagher, Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, Gem Archer and Andy Bell joined by several touring musicians.

Since then, the band's momentum has continued. In 2026, Oasis was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame after receiving two previous nominations.
