S8UL Esports, a global name in esports and gaming content, has officially secured qualification in its sixth title at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 after its Free Fire MAX roster earned a place at the global event. The qualification further strengthens the organization’s Indian contingent at EWC 2026, which already includes representation in Honor of Kings, Chess, and Trackmania through Indian athletes and rosters, alongside Apex Legends and Fortnite through its international lineups.

Free Fire will return to the Esports World Cup this year, with 24 of the world’s best teams competing for a prize pool of USD 1 million (approximately INR 9.4 crore) from July 15 to 18 in Paris, France.

S8UL’s recently acquired Free Fire MAX roster comprising Naitik Sharma (Troll), Prince Saini (Prinxz), Jay Verma (Bunny), Harshit Nain (Jack07), and Abhishek Gupta (Stiven) secured its place at the tournament with a runner-up finish at the Free Fire MAX India Cup (FFMIC) 2026 Spring. The result earned the team one of three invitations awarded to Indian representatives at the Esports World Cup.

FFMIC 2026 Spring featured a multi-stage qualification process beginning with the City Qualifiers and In-Game Qualifiers before progressing through the Group Stage, Knockout Stage, Point Rush, and Champion Rush. The roster saved its best performance for Champion Rush. After earning three Headstart Points in Point Rush, the team produced a consistent display across eight matches, collecting 131 points and two Booyahs to finish second overall. Alongside INR 17 lakh in prize money, the result secured S8UL’s place at the EWC 2026 and marked another major achievement for the roster.
