GREECE, N.Y. — Greece Animal Services is offering free pet adoptions because it’s running out of room.
The shelter is waiving its $50 adoption fee through the end of the month and possibly longer. Right now, there are more dogs than the facility is designed to house, with more animals coming in each week.
“Our shelter staff works tirelessly every day to care for the animals in our community, but we’ve reached a point where we need the public’s help. By waiving adoption fees, we hope to open doors for families ready to give a pet a loving home, and give our shelter the breathing room it needs to continue serving Greece,” said Supervisor Jeff McCann.
