News by : (News10NBC) -

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WHEC) – The 2026 NBA Draft was as deep of a draft as there could be and a pair of Rochester guys heard their names called in one way or another.

First, six-year NBA veteran Isaiah Stewart, who played high school ball at McQuaid, found out he was getting traded. His Detroit Pistons sent him to the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for a trio of second round picks. The big man is coming off a solid season averaging 10.0 points per game and 5.0 rebounds per game, finishing seventh in Sixth Year of the Man voting.

A few picks later, the Toronto Raptors selected Jaden Bradley with the 50th pick. Bradley, also a Rochester native, moved away when he was younger, but still reps the city and comes back during the summer.

Our own Ian Mills talked with Bradley ahead of draft night.
