ROCHESTER, N.Y. — On Saturday, around 10 a.m., Rochester police responded to the area of Lake and Lexington avenues after getting a report of someone beaten with a bat.
When officers got to the scene, they said they found the victim, a Rochester woman. She was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, police added.
Officers say the victim didn’t cooperate, and it’s unclear what led up to the beating.
No one else was reported injured, and police say no suspects are in custody.
