ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A police investigation unfolded on Rochester’s northwest side on Wednesday night, and the scene was closed off.
Officers were called to Dewey Avenue near Costar Street around 7:30 p.m. A Wayne County man and a Rochester woman reported that a man threatened them with a gun.
Officers shut down roads in the area, but they have since been reopened.
This is an active investigation. No suspects are in custody.
