Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly directed swift allocation of additional funding to upgrade and improve Giza Governorate’s sanitation and waste management system as well as intensifying efforts to enhance services provided to citizens.
During a meeting on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, with Minister of Local Development and Environment Manal Awad and Giza Governor Ahmed al-Ansary, Madbouly also ordered the immediate implementation of a number of vital infrastructure projects according to specific timelines.
