ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police are working to learn more after they say a man in his 50s was shot in the leg on the city’s northeast side.
Police say they responded to Furlong Street just before 8 a.m. Monday and found the victim with a gunshot wound to his lower leg. They say it just missed his GPS monitor.
The victim was brought to Strong Memorial Hospital and is expected to survive. Police say preliminary investigations show the shots were possibly fired from inside a passing car.
