Suzuki has always been a streaky hitter, but there’s no doubt this slump was worse than anything we’ve seen from him before. Hopefully, what comes next is one of those certifiable heaters we’ve seen from him in the past. There’s still some time to change the narrative of this season, but it has to start (or continue) immediately. And Suzuki is as key to this Cubs offense as any other player.
