ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – Soccer fans in the Rochester area got to watch the big game against Paraguay together on the big screens on Friday night.
From 5-9 p.m., food vendors, music, and entertainment helped fans get ready for the kickoff. And from 9 p.m. and on, fans turned their eyes to the two big screens brought in to show the game.
“Soccer public here in Rochester, we are a strong soccer group. Not just our group, but our community. We’re excited that they can all share in a unifying moment and support the red, white, and blue,” said American Outlaws Rochester Chapter President, Tom Haughey.
And whether they were big fans or just there for the celebration, everyone agreed the United States would come out on top!
