He’s the 3rd defensive line addition, joining 4-star edge rusher Derwin Fields and 4-star edge Cameron Hall. As it currently stands, Texas is ranked No. 26 in 247Sports’ team rankings for the 2027 cycle.
According to 247Sports, Currie is considered to be the No. 37 overall prospect in the country, as well as the No. 2 defensive lineman and No. 5 player out of the Golden State.
