ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Lucky Flea Market held an outdoor market in downtown Rochester on Sunday.
A balloon arch welcomed visitors earlier in the day. The flea market was held in collaboration with Neighborhood of Play and The Strong National Museum of Play.
People browsed clothing and other goods at several tents.
The owner of The Lucky Flea said it was amazing seeing more people enjoying downtown Rochester. “The great people at the Neighborhood of Play, which is a collection of all the local businesses here and the Strong Museum, reached out to us. They wanted to host a market, take advantage of this beautiful space they have here. I mean, it’s amazing, a pedestrian-friendly, it’s very walkable, and they wanted to help through an event to kick off this amazing summer after a tough Rochester winter,” said Chris Rapoza, owner of The Lucky Flea Market.
There were more than 100 local vendors, food trucks and different interactive experiences for people to enjoy.
