Set in Wales, the show follows retired actor John Chapel (Spall) and detective Janie Mallowan (Keyworth), as the pair reluctantly set aside their differences and work together to crack cases. Mysteries this season include murders in a coastal fishing village, a sustainable commune and the competitive world of rugby, amongst others.
