Two 18-year-old men were seriously injured after being shot in the city’s Little Village neighborhood on Friday night, police said.
The shooting was reported at around 11:16 p.m. in the 2800 block of South Sawyer Avenue near West 28th Street. Police said two men sitting inside a vehicle were shot by an unknown offender who later fled the scene.
One of the victims sustained a graze wound to the head and was listed in serious condition at an area hospital. The other suffered unspecified gunshot wounds to the body and was also said to be in serious condition.
Area Four detectives are investigating.
