Police in suburban Aurora are searching for a missing 32-year-old woman who disappeared Thursday afternoon near the area’s popular outlet mall.
The Aurora Police Department posted about the missing woman, Shafia Murad, Thursday. According to police, she is described as 5’0” tall, approximately 105 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen in the area of the Chicago Premium Outlets about 1:30 p.m. wearing a light green jacket, blue jeans and brown shoes.
Police added that Murad’s hair appeared to look disheveled.
According to the post, Murad’s family and the police were seeking the community’s help in finding her.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Aurora Police Investigations at 630-256-5500 or email us at tips@aurora.il.us.,” police said.
