ROCHESTER, N.Y. — An update on a police scene Monday night just outside News10NBC studios on East Avenue: Rochester police took four people into custody Monday night after a robbery near the Liberty Pole.
One of the suspects was tased just outside News10NBC after police say he became aggressive. Video captured the interaction between the suspect and officers before the tasing.
“Or what? I’m going to spit on you. I’ll spit on you, right on your face,” the suspect said.
“You spit on me and I’ll spray you right in the face,” an officer responded.
Officers say the incident stemmed from an assault and armed robbery near the Liberty Pole. Four suspects assaulted a victim during the robbery.
The victim was taken to the hospital but is expected to be okay.
