PENFIELD, N.Y. (WHEC) – The Penfield girl’s lax team slowed down in the second half, easing past Greece Storm 16-3 to move on to the Section V Class A title game.

Penfield won last season, with Fairport taking the championship in 2024 and 2023. For the fourth straight season, one of these schools will take home the brick.

That is because Fairport defeated Rush-Henrietta, 17-6, setting up a heavyweight battle between the two Rochester East side schools.

The championship game is set for June 1 at 7 p.m. at St. John Fisher.
