Thank you!The DREO RO Water Filter 112 combines 7-stage reverse osmosis filtration, easy setup, and improved water taste in a compact countertop design built for everyday use.
In the past few years, I’ve tried to be more conscious about doing things to better my health. With as busy as I am, it can be very overwhelming to try and change everything about your lifestyle all at once. So, I’m trying to be methodical about that and change one thing at a time. One of the easiest things you can change is to start drinking more water, which can help support energy levels, focus, digestion, and overall wellness throughout the day.
Where we live, tap water just doesn’t taste clean. The main reason for this is because our water utility company treats water that comes from a major river. The way it tastes has a lot to do with the disinfectants that are used to clean the water and the natural river conditions. Even though the water is safe to drink, we still default to drinking bottled water instead. That does get a bit inconvenient and expensive so investing in a water filtration system like the DREO RO Water Filter 112 is a great option.
About RO Water Filter 112
The DREO RO Water Filter 112 is a countertop reverse osmosis water purification system designed to deliver high-quality drinking water without the need for permanent installation. Built for convenience and performance, it combines multi-stage filtration with a compact, plug-in design, making it well suited for homes, apartments, and offices.
At its core, the system uses a 7-stage purification process that includes reverse osmosis filtration to reduce a wide range of common contaminants such as chlorine, heavy metals, and dissolved solids. The result is clean, neutral-tasting water that closely resembles bottled water quality.
The unit features a built-in raw water tank and a separate filtered water pitcher, allowing it to produce and dispense fresh water on demand. A real-time TDS display provides a quick view of water quality before and after filtration, while smart features like automatic refilling, filter life reminders, and self-cleaning help simplify daily use.
With its plug-and-play setup, the RO Water Filter 112 avoids the complexity of under-sink installations while still delivering advanced filtration performance. It is designed for users who want a practical, low-maintenance way to improve drinking water quality at home without relying on bottled water or fixed plumbing systems.

User Experience
One of the things I really love about this water filter is that it comes put together. You simply lift it out of the box, remove the packaging and start using it. There is no complicated software to set up and the only thing you have to do to get it working is to plug it in. Once you get all the packaging removed, you have to fill and empty the tank and pitcher 4-6 times to ensure the filter is cleaning the water completely.
While it’s a little tedious, it doesn’t take that long and it’s very simple. What I noticed was that the tank would stop filling the pitcher when there was probably 6-8 ounces of water left in the tank. So, that water, I had to dump out. After you finish the initial setup, all you have to do is keep the tank filled. It will automatically fill the pitcher each time you use some of the water in it.
Since we installed the Water Filter 112 I have been using it for coffee and tea mostly. I have used it to fill up my Yeti, which I use as a water bottle. The pitcher pours easily and I haven’t noticed any leaking or spilling. The spout faces the inside of the tank stand so that it’s easier to grab the pitcher. There are controls, but they only allow you to:
Switch between pure water and raw water TDS display Reset the filter after replacing itThat said, the display is very responsive and easy to read. Having the display is helpful, but it’s really just for monitoring the current state of your water. It doesn’t save your readings or analyze them in any way.
Refilling the tank is easy. You can remove it to sit it under your faucet or if you have a hose-style faucet, you can fill the tank without removing it. I have been refilling it every two days at this point. It really depends on what you are filling. If I fill my 32-ounce Yeti, then I’ll need to refill the tank more often than if I just make single cups of hot tea on a daily basis.
I noticed an immediate difference in the taste of the water. It really does take tap water and elevate it so that it tastes more like bottle water. I was surprised how much better the water tasted because I’ve used other water filter systems before and the taste doesn’t seem to change. The only other system that has produced a similar taste is the DREO RO Countertop Water Filter WF511, which I have also tested.
Overall, this is a very easy system to use and take care of. It’s a very easy option for keeping good tasting filtered water on hand at any point in the day. I think maintenance is straightforward and using it feels manageable overall.
Conclusion
The DREO RO Water Filter 112 is a simple and effective way to improve the taste and quality of your drinking water without dealing with complicated installation. For users looking for a compact reverse osmosis system that is approachable, low maintenance, and capable of producing consistently good-tasting water, the RO Water Filter 112 is a strong option.
