ROCHESTER, N.Y. — On Friday, around 10:25 p.m., Rochester police responded to Orange Street for a report of a person shot. According to police, the victim has non-life-threatening injuries.
When police got to the scene, officers say they found a 19-year-old Rochester woman, who was shot in the upper body.
The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, police added.
Police also say no suspects are in custody.
Orange Street, between Walnut and Grape streets, was shut down due to the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
