ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester area is set to honor military members who died while serving their country. Towns and the City of Rochester will hold Memorial Day parades and remembrance ceremonies on Monday. Here’s your guide to the parades:

East Rochester (canceled)

The Village of East Rochester has decided to cancel its parade planned for Saturday due to the rain that’s in the forecast. The parade was supposed to begin at 10:30 a.m. Organizers say they’re looking forward to next year’s parade.

City of Rochester (Monday)

Rochester’s parade gets underway at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at East Avenue and Alexander Street, then heads down Main Street before finishing at the corner of Main and Fitzhugh streets.

Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on Lake Avenue will hold its first-ever Memorial Day Mass in the chapel at the Christ Our Light Mausoleum. It begins at 9 a.m.
