The first of many T10 cricket leagues around the world – Abu Dhabi T10 has finally transitioned and will take a fresh guard after being taken over by a government-owned and government-managed body. Previously, the league was owned by T Ten Sports Management. Now, the Abu Dhabi Cricket and Sports Hub (ADCSH) has acquired the majority stake, along with the commercial rights.
Under the new framework, ADCSH will manage the tournament with the support of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) and Emirates Cricket Board (ECB).

Addressing after a major shift in the management of the league, Chairman of the Board, ADCSH, and the General Secretary, Aref Al Awani said, “This marks a new start for a tournament that has already demonstrated global relevance in a short timeframe, while building a growing fanbase in Abu Dhabi.”
He also highlighted that the evolution signals “strengthened governance, institutional credibility and a clear growth strategy for the sport’s fastest format”, while providing high-intensity games along with star power to the globally recognised sport. The Vice Chairman of the ECB, Khalid Al Zarooni, also extended support while stating, “The Emirates Cricket Board supports the new framework of Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Abu Dhabi Cricket & Sports Hub, now in place for the Abu Dhabi T10.”
