ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Around 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, Rochester police responded to Colvin Street after getting a report about a man shot on Jay Street.
When officers arrived, they found the male victim, who is in his 40s, hit in the upper body at lease once, according to police.
The man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, and police say he has non-life-threatening injuries.
No suspects are in custody, police added.
The investigation is ongoing.
