ALBION, N.Y. — A man is facing more than a dozen charges after police say he stole alcohol, was released, then got in a car and led police on a chase while drunk.
The incident happened Monday morning, Jan. 27, in the Village of Albion. It started around 7 a.m. when officers say Timothy Ausman Jr. stole alcohol from Crosby’s North.
Police booked Ausman, then responded to a call involving him a few hours later. That’s when police say Ausman led them on a chase before he slammed into a patrol car.
He’s being held at the Orleans County Jail.
